Turnips in Dijon Sauce

Ingredients

2 medium turnips, peeled and sliced
1 medium potato, peeled and diced
1 carrot, diced
1 onion, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Freshly ground pepper

Preparation

  1. Steam the vegetables for 10 minutes, or until tender. Combine the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, and pepper in a small saucepan and heat gently. Add the vegetables to the sauce and stir to coat the vegetables. Serve immediately.
