This sweet-hot slaw gets its “attitude” from a combination of several highly flavored ingredients.

3 cups packaged shredded cabbage and carrot slaw
1/2 cup packaged matchstick carrots
1/3 cup dried sweetened cranberries
1 medium fresh jalapeño, cut into thin rounds
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons canola or corn oil
1 teaspoon grated orange zest

Preparation
